Update on my BigBang no.2

OH MY FUDGE YOU GUYS!!!! I JUST HIT 20k!! WELL 20.304 WORDS!!!!
so ... yeah ... no need to worry that I won't achieve the minimum words required LOL
I already have the prologue DONE
CH1 is right now at 13.487 words, and it's halfway done (meaning I have to squeeze two more scenes in it and then it's done)
and then I only have 3 more chapters to do! YAY :)

heeeee , 'm so giddy right now too, I think 'm gonna puke :) I just had to share this little moment of victory with everyone :)
hahahah ... and well I still have to finish CH1 and then write 3 more, but damn it, if I won't make it :)))
now I'm back to writing ... I think the whole of CH1 will be 20k long! *shakes head*

I am officially nuts, yes. I'm trying to keep them both under 10k though :) It's a nice distraction from RL issues.

And it wasn't coffee, I just had really bad insomnia back then and wasn't sleeping anyway so I just wrote. In the dark. I'm probably going to need glasses soon. :P

Lol I always struggle with keeping my stories under a reasonable amount but time constrictions help! :P

Not really. These days I only write long!fic for challenges, haha. That 70k fic I did for my first big bang broke me LOL. My second one is my third longest story and it was only 45k or so.

It's an acquired taste. You either have to marathon it or watch them twice or three times to really get the show. It dips and peaks like shows tend to do but I love it and miss it, ugh!

Every sitcom these days is like Friends. :P

YOu nUts girl! but I totally understand you, I can't write short fic if someone payed me to do it, but for challenges, gosh that deadline ... ugh! :)

I watched it on and off, so I can't really say much, but what I did saw, it was ... idk ... mediocre :) but oh yeah, EVERY sitcom nowadays is like Friends, which when they were running they were like WHOAH of that time, but now? meh ... Ross and Rachel get on my nerve, Joey is that dumb guy every sitcom needs, Chandler the quirky one every sitcom needs ... eh, ...
it's all good for some comic relief from RL, but ... it can get a bit meh after time ...
I haven't found a sitcom that would be FRESH and something new, something never seen before! I liked the Office through, the US version ... but even that got old after some time ... *sigh*

Lol, I generally have a goal word count whenever I start a story and I stick to it so I'm usually just rushing to get to the minimum. I don't think I've ever handed in a complete draft, lol.

I liked it for what it was.

I think all sitcoms generally follow the same lines, though. Friends wasn't the benchmark, it's just the most popular because it aired during a time when television became more accessible and widespread.

I like Modern Family (that one was definitely an original take) and Trophy Wife, and also How I Met Your Mother was good during its first five seasons. I'm not really picky about shows though. If I like it, I like it, if I don't I move on to another one.

I never liked Friends ... seriously Ross and Rachel drove me up against the wall .. and you're right all, or, most of sitcoms do follow the same line so it's really refreshing to actually find a show that is NOT following any lines!
