So this is the Master Post for Kosti!verse.

SUMMARY:

Jared hasn't been the psychologist at Camp Gamble long. He always wanted to work with kids - troubled kids - but now it looks like he might be in over his head. J2-AU Jensen is 16, Jared is 26!

EXPLANATION OF THE VERSE's NAME:

What does 'Kosti' mean? In Slovene (my 1st language, my mother tongue), 'kosti' means BONES! And well since we have Soft Skeletons, Bendin' Bones and The Bones Are Bending, etc. the theme being bones, I think that kosti is an appropriate name to call this verse. Right? I could have named this verse Bones!verse, but really... that just reminds me of the TV series Bones and well yeah... and since these stories have nothing in common with Bones I decided to call it kosti!verse!

hurt!Jensen, suicide talk and attempt, child abuse, language, angst, drugs, self-harm!

INTERESTING THING:

The awesome kc246, found this little interesting fact here: http://www.kabalarians.com/male/kosti.htm. I didn't even go look at what the actual name Kosti means, I just found it appropriate for the story and it's very interesting that the meaning of the name is what I imagine Jared to be like in the story. To summarize: serious-minded, responsible, and stable, fond of children, fair and understanding as a parent, possess a charming, easy-going nature which puts people at ease. People are drawn to you because they feel that you are patient, kind, understanding, and responsive. But lack of self-confidence and initiative causes you to put things off and avoid facing issues.

oh no.. I have not forgotten about this story... no way :) I have the next story written and all, but I need to find time to work on it some more... you know!? :)
but I will finish this.. I promise, because like you I love the characters too and I kinda... WANT to write this story, because just like you, i've never seen a story with this camp!plot done like this ever :) so yeah.. no worries, I will continue this story :)

As so many others have said, I found this verse about a month ago, had it on my list of fics to read, and finally got around to it. I am so glad that I did! I read all of the stories in one sitting, and fell absolutely in love. Your writing is beautiful, and my heart is breaking, and I can't wait for more!
