I spent most of my summer chasing my professor because of my master thesis. He's very nifty in avoiding his students. ;) But I did take some time off and had a nice vacation at the French Riviera with a few friends. And like you said, France is odd. Polite and rude. Very weird combination. :) Where did you go?
LOL, good to know the people in Germany were nice... and I know how freaked people are because of the (non-existing) speed limit. My relatives from the US are always baffled and scared when they come visit us. :D And the product range... yeah I get that. You have to go to several stores to find every product you want. It's a bit annoying.
